## About the label

Papa Fashions is a Vancouver-based women's clothing company that designs and wholesales to independent boutiques across Canada. Its collections run to tops, tunics, dresses, sweaters and jackets, and it is one of the labels we've reordered from season after season because the fit is consistent and the fabrics hold up.

## Why we carry it

Length. Papa cuts tops and tunics long enough to cover the hip and sleeves long enough to cover the arm, which sounds simple and is surprisingly hard to find. The fabrics are the easy-care kind: wash, hang, wear. And the prints and colours are chosen for grown women, not for a mannequin.

## How to wear it

A Papa tunic over a slim [FDJ or Carreli](https://amarettos.ca/jeans-and-pants/) pant, with a [Baba jacket](https://amarettos.ca/brands/baba/) open over the top, is the outfit we put together more than any other in the shop.
