We do not do wedding or formal wear. ## Dresses Our dresses are everyday dresses: printed maxis and midis, shirt dresses and knit dresses that go on in one motion and look finished with a sandal. Summer brings the lighter prints and shorter sleeves; the rest of the year is knits, longer sleeves and layers. Things we look for in a dress for our customers: sleeves or at least a proper shoulder, a neckline that doesn't need a camisole, fabric with some weight so it hangs rather than clings, and a length that works with a low heel or a flat. ## What we don't carry We don't do wedding or formal wear. No bridal party dresses, no gowns, nothing for a black-tie evening. [Papillon](https://amarettos.ca/brands/papillon/) brings colour and print, the blouse that makes a plain pant into an outfit. [Soya Concept](https://amarettos.ca/brands/soya-concept/) covers the Danish end of things: clean knits, cardigans, blouses and layers in muted colours that mix with each other. ## Fit notes from the fitting room - **Tunic length matters more than size.** A tunic that hits mid-hip on one woman hits the thigh on another. Try two lengths. - **Prints hide, solids show.** If you love a solid colour top but feel exposed in it, wear it under an open jacket.
