Colour and print. When an outfit needs one thing with some life in it, this is the rack we go to. Papillon is a Canadian label out of Vancouver, and Amarettos in Dundas carries its printed blouses, tops, dresses, skirts and pants. It is the piece that turns a plain pant into an outfit.

About the label
Papillon is a Canadian women's clothing label based in the Vancouver area, sold through boutiques across the country. Its Canadian site lists tops and blouses, skirts, dresses, and pants and jumpsuits. You may also see the name Papillon Eastern; it's the name the company uses for its own contact address on that site.
Why we carry it
Most of what we sell is quiet: good denim, a cotton jacket, a soft knit. Papillon is the loud piece that finishes the outfit. Printed blouses, dresses in colour, the top that gets you a compliment at lunch. Our customers tend to buy one Papillon piece per season and wear it constantly.
How to wear it
Keep everything else plain. A Papillon blouse with a dark Carreli pant and a solid Baba jacket, or a Papillon dress with a low wedge from our footwear wall. Let the print do the talking.
